The American Standard H960136.191 is a 1/2 inch ceramic disc flow cartridge for American Standard OEM tap valves. It is the clockwise open cartridge and is used for cold-side control in selected two-handle tap assemblies.
This cartridge controls the on/off flow of water through the tap body. Common signs that a flow cartridge may need replacing include a stiff or loose handle action, poor shut-off, or water continuing to drip from the spout when the tap is turned off.
