The American Standard H960104.191 is a 1/2 inch counterclockwise hot-side tap cartridge for selected American Standard, DXV and JADO two-handle taps and faucets. It is used to control hot water flow and shut-off on the hot side of the tap assembly.

This cartridge is intended for replacing a worn or leaking hot-side cartridge where the existing part code is H960104.191. Common signs of failure can include hot water passing from the spout when the tap is turned off, stiff handle movement, poor shut-off or uneven operation on the hot control.
