The Ideal Standard A960939NU is a G1/2 on/off flow cartridge for the cold-water side of the Dualux taps and shower valves listed below. It is the blue-designated cold cartridge, supplied in the newer brass design.

The cartridge controls the cold-water flow when the handle is operated. A worn or damaged flow cartridge can allow water to drip from the spout or shower head after the control has been turned off. Check which side is causing the problem before ordering.

Check the fitting's model reference and confirm that you need the cold-water cartridge. The Dualux range name or G1/2 size alone is not enough to identify the correct part. Dualux A3800, A3860, A3820 and A3880 use a different cold-water cartridge.

Isolate the water supply before removing the existing cartridge. Follow the servicing instructions for your fitting and check for leaks after installation.
