The Vola VR5400 is a diverter cartridge for the old Vola 5400 built-in thermostatic mixer. It is used on the earlier 5400 diverter arrangement and should be matched to the installed valve version before ordering.

This diverter controls outlet selection on the shower valve. A worn or scaled diverter cartridge can cause poor outlet selection, stiff operation, water passing to the wrong outlet or water dripping from the shower head or spout when the valve is turned off.
