This is a quality replacement cartridge for Rangemaster Aquatrend taps. It is a ceramic disc valve with one O-ring and a red bottom seal. The turn direction of the spare part is clockwise to allow water flow.

1.) Since some manufacturers might have changed the specifications of the valve over time, knowing the measurements of the tap cartridge compatible with Rangemaster Aquatrend is of importance.

2.) A 17mm spanner size is used to remove the cartridge and to tighten it in place.

3.) If the handle refuses to separate from the tap even with the screw removed, extra force might be needed. Firmly hold the tap in place and pull. A loosening agent, such as WD-40, may also help.

4.) In the event the bush comes out with the Rangemaster Aquatrend tap cartridge and it is impossible to unscrew, getting the bush with the cartridge might be necessary.
