Fault Finding and Fitting

If the mixer does not switch cleanly between the bath spout and shower handset, inspect the diverter and its seals. If water continues to drip when both hot and cold controls are closed, worn flow valves may be responsible, so replacing the diverter alone may not resolve the fault.

Isolate both water supplies before removing the existing assembly. Protect the visible fittings while working, avoid overtightening and check for leaks after restoring the supplies.
