Frequently Asked Questions:

Question: The shower fitting has become too stiff to turn and lever loose. I don't know whether to replace just the cartridge or the entire fitting. It's over 10 years old, cartridge has been replaced once or twice. Can you recommend which cartridge, if it's worth trying?

Response: It sounds like the problem is with the cartridge, therefore it comes down to what you want to do. Changing the cartridge will be a far more cost effective solution.

Question: I have a mixer shower that is leaking from the lower tap. It was leaking where the handle attaches. Is this a cartridge problem and if it is, are you able to advise what replacement cartridge you think I need?

Response: It sounds like you have an issue with the cartridge. The seals on the cartridge may have failed or an internal part like the ceramic discs. Either way, replacing the cartridge should fix the leaking problem.

Question: We have a leaking shower an suspect the red seal at the bottom of the cartridge but struggling to source new one, can you help?

Response: The red seal that you have at the bottom of the cartridge isn't available as an independent part. You will have to replace the entire cartridge.

Question: Are the ceramic discs available by themselves?

Response: Unfortunately, we only sell the entire cartridge as one piece.

Question: Does this cartridge have serial number Kerox 14907 on the side?

Response: The serial number on the side is actually a manufacturing batch number and therefore changes.

Question: Do you actually have this cartridge in stock or does the stock you say you have, have a leadtime?

Response: If we say the cartridge is in stock, we have it in immediate stock, therefore cartridge type Kerox K35A 35mm will be available for next day delivery (in UK).
