Summary
This is a genuine Vernet EL 0862 thermostatic element for a thermostatic cartridge. This model is used on many different brands of thermostatic cartridge and is a screw in fit.
This wax element is the heart of a thermostatic cartridge and regulates the temperature of the hot and cold entering the thermostatic cartridge. The Vernet thermostatic elements are incredibly reliable and are not usually the first part to fail in a thermostatic cartridge.
Di Vapor are the official spares partners for Vernet. Please contact us should you have any questions and we'll reply to you the same working day. Our job is to get you up and running again, fast.
If you are replacing a thermostatic element and you believe this is the correct replacement you need, read the numbers on the cup of the thermostat. The numbers should include 0862. If they do, this is the correct thermostatic element replacement.
