The Zucchetti R97421 is a thermostatic cartridge used inside Zucchetti thermostatic shower mixer valves to control and stabilise the mixed water temperature.

This cartridge sits behind the temperature control and blends the incoming hot and cold supplies so the shower can maintain the selected outlet temperature. Replacement may be required where the shower temperature becomes difficult to regulate, fluctuates during use or no longer reaches the required setting after normal servicing checks have been carried out.

Installation Note

Use WRAS approved silicone grease sparingly on the cartridge o-rings during installation to help the cartridge seat correctly and protect the seals. Do not use mineral oil based grease on rubber seals or o-rings.
