Vado V-703-34S Thermostatic Cartridge

The Vado V-703-34S is a thermostatic cartridge for selected Vado exposed thermostatic shower valves and shower columns. It controls the blended hot and cold water temperature inside the shower valve and is used where the Vado spare part reference V-703-34S is specified.

This cartridge is associated with the older V-001A-PLA reference on some Vado pages. Check the cartridge code, valve code and cartridge shape before ordering, especially where an older valve diagram or spare parts page still references V-001A-PLA.

Technical Details

A failing thermostatic cartridge can cause unstable temperature, poor temperature adjustment, water running too hot or too cold, or a shower that cannot be correctly calibrated after normal adjustment. Always isolate the water supply before removing the old cartridge and compare the removed part with the replacement before fitting.

If the cartridge has already been removed, compare the spline, length, body diameter and O-ring positions with the replacement.
