Ultra ZSPSBARCA18 Thermostatic Cartridge for Shower and Bath Shower Mixers

Ultra ZSPSBARCA18 is a brass thermostatic cartridge for selected shower bar valves and bath shower mixers. It has a screw-in fitting and is used in the temperature-control side of the mixer.

The cartridge regulates the blend of hot and cold water to control the outlet temperature. If the mixer no longer responds correctly to temperature adjustment, check the water supplies, filters and temperature calibration before replacing the cartridge.

Fitting and Fault Checks

Isolate the hot and cold water supplies before servicing. Apply a thin coating of suitable silicone grease to the O-rings during installation, then check the temperature setting in accordance with the instructions for your mixer.

Persistent dripping when the mixer is turned off should be investigated at the flow-control side after ruling out retained water draining from the shower head or handset. ZSPSBARCA18 regulates temperature and should not be selected solely to cure an on/off sealing fault.
