Summary
Thermostatic Cartridge for Saneux - 2001568
The Saneux 2001568 thermostatic cartridge is a replacement temperature control cartridge for Saneux shower valve applications. It is used inside the valve body to help regulate the mixed hot and cold water output so the shower can maintain a stable selected temperature.
This cartridge is intended for customers replacing a worn or faulty Saneux thermostatic cartridge where the existing cartridge or product documentation identifies the part number as 2001568. Check the existing cartridge and shower valve documentation before ordering to confirm the Saneux part number 2001568. Do not order from appearance alone, as similar thermostatic cartridges can vary in body profile, spline, seals and internal calibration.
Fitting Note
Isolate the hot and cold water supplies before removing the old cartridge. Clean the valve body carefully, check for limescale or debris, and lightly lubricate the cartridge O-rings with suitable silicone grease before refitting.
