Function and Fault Checking
The thermostatic cartridge controls the temperature side of the shower valve. Replacing it can help restore stable temperature control where the shower is difficult to adjust, runs too hot or too cold, or fluctuates during use.
If the shower continues to drip from the head or outlet when turned off, check the flow cartridge as well, because the flow cartridge controls the on-off water function rather than the thermostatic temperature control.
Installation Note
Before fitting, isolate the water supplies and compare the removed cartridge with Signorini 93419 / S-93419. Silicone grease can be applied to the O-rings during installation to help protect the seals and assist fitting into the valve body.
