SUMMARY

Shires U960016AA is the thermostatic cartridge used in selected Ely, Premier and Solent concealed and exposed shower mixer valves. It is the temperature-control cartridge inside the valve and is designed to regulate and stabilise mixed water temperature.

The cartridge is a screw-in brass assembly with a flat diaphragm thermostatic element. A worn cartridge can cause poor temperature control, unstable outlet temperature or a shower that no longer responds correctly to the temperature handle.
