Question: We have an 8 year old Pura shower that is not running hot water. Will changing the temperature cartridge solve this?
Answer: Check if your shower’s hot feed is not clogged. If it is not clogged, then a new Pura TC100 shower cartridge which will likely make hot showers possible again.
Question: There’s a ring holding the cartridge in the valve. Do you know how to remove it?
Answer: You can use a screwdriver against the slot found in the retaining ring and tap it with a spanner. The focused force may help it loosen a bit easier. You can also use WD-40 before tapping it. Take care whilst removing the ring as there is no available spare in the event it breaks.
