Common Questions
Question: How do I take the cartridge out of the valve? I have removed the grub screw which screws into the side but when I pull it doesn't come out. Is there something else holding the cartridge in the valve?
Response: There isn't anything else that is holding the cartridge in the valve. The only thing that would be holding the cartridge in the valve is the buildup of limescale between the seals and the valve. You could try applying WD40 or equivalent to the area, but it just needs force.

Question: The temperature control on my ShowerForce 902T won't work. I have a pressured system. What is the problem?
Response: Assuming you have checked the water supplies coming into the shower is okay (with a balanced feed of hot and cold), then the problem does sound like it is the cartridge.

Question: Does the cartridge come with a handle?
Response: No, there is no handle or stop ring included. Only the thermostatic cartridge as per the photos (with a grub screw) is included.

Question: Can you tell me how to replace this cartridge please.
Response: The cartridge is held into the valve with a small grub screw. You will need an allen or hex key to unscrew this. Once the grub screw is removed you will then need to pull the cartridge out towards you with a pair of pliers or similar. The cartridge may be stiff however this is just being held in by limescale buildup and the oring seals pressing against the inside of the valve. We recommend you use WD40, twist the cartridge to loosen it and then pull. It may require quite a but of force to pull it loose.

Make sure all water to the shower valve is isolated or turned off before you begin.
