Function And Fault Symptoms
This thermostatic cartridge helps regulate mixed water temperature in the shower valve. A worn or faulty thermostatic cartridge can cause poor temperature control, unstable shower temperature, water running too hot or too cold, reduced response from the temperature control, or water leaking from the shower head after the shower has been turned off.
Before You Order Check
Check the existing cartridge code and shower range before ordering. Do not order from shape or appearance alone, as similar Mira Agile and Mira Pronta cartridges can use different part numbers.
Fitting Note
When fitting a replacement thermostatic cartridge, inspect the valve body for scale or debris and lubricate the cartridge O-rings with a suitable silicone grease. Do not use oil-based lubricants on rubber seals.
