The Milano Arvo ML8983 is a compatible thermostatic cartridge spare for the Milano Arvo Twin Control Shower Valve. This cartridge sits inside the thermostatic shower valve body and is used to regulate the mixed water temperature supplied to the shower outlet.
The cartridge is intended for temperature-control faults where the shower is no longer maintaining a stable mixed temperature, is difficult to calibrate, or is producing water that is too hot or too cold despite adjustment. Fitting Notes
Isolate the hot and cold water supplies before removing the cartridge. Clean the inside of the valve body before fitting the replacement cartridge, lubricate the O-rings with a suitable silicone grease, and check that the cartridge seats fully before refitting the trim and handle parts. Recalibrate the temperature control after installation where required.
