Repair Notes
A failing thermostatic cartridge can cause unstable mixed water temperature, poor temperature adjustment, restricted flow or a shower that does not respond correctly to the control. Flush the valve body and check the hot and cold supplies before fitting the new cartridge.
Apply a suitable silicone grease to the O-rings during installation to help the cartridge seat correctly and reduce the risk of seal damage. Do not force the cartridge into the valve body if it is not aligned correctly.
