Hudson Reed Topaz Thermostatic Cartridge - C8829
SUMMARY
Hudson Reed C8829 is a thermostatic cartridge used in Hudson Reed Topaz shower valve applications. The fitment for this cartridge is the Hudson Reed TSVT104-AM312 traditional exposed shower valve with riser kit diverter and shower rose.
This cartridge is the thermostatic mixing control component for the valve and is used to regulate mixed water temperature. Replacing a worn thermostatic cartridge can restore stable temperature control where the original part has become stiff or unreliable.

- - Valve layout for the confirmed model uses separate temperature and flow controls.
- - TSVT104-AM312 installation data shows 15 mm compression inlets, 1/2 BSP for concealed installation and M26 for exposed installation to suit 18 mm riser tubes, inlet centres is 150 mm, concealed installation recess depth is 65 to 79 mm.
- - Installation note: if the outlet is installed facing down the cartridge must be removed turned 180 degrees and refitted.
