The HUD-A3290-CT thermostatic shower cartridge is used in Hudson Reed A3290 Tec sequential shower valves, including concealed and exposed installations.
The cartridge regulates the mixed water temperature within the valve. The Tec sequential control turns the water on and adjusts the temperature through one handle, starting with cold water and gradually blending in hot water as the control is turned anti-clockwise.

Fitting and Temperature Checks
Isolate the hot and cold water supplies before removing the old cartridge. Apply a small amount of suitable silicone grease to the cartridge O-rings during installation, then check for leaks and confirm the shower temperature before use. If the shower remains too hot, too cold or unstable, check the supply temperature and pressure as well as the cartridge and control adjustment.
