This thermostatic cartridge is the replacement spare for the Hudson Reed Tec Dual Shower Valve.

The Hudson Reed A3192 cartridge is made from WRAS approved engineered polymer – a material where hard water minerals are less likely to stick. It is TMV compliant equipped with thermal protection as an anti-scald function. It can be used in high and low pressure systems.

Question: The screws on the handle are removed but I cannot remove it from the valve.
Answer: A3091 handles can get stuck on the valve because of calcification or corrosion. You can try pulling the handle out with extra force. If it refuses to budge, use WD-40 and see if it loosens.

Question: Shower water flow rate is reduced to a trickle. Is the cartridge the problem?
Answer: Check if the water supply pipes to the shower are unclogged and that water supply to the shower is consistent.
