The Hansgrohe 92999000 is an Equilibrium pressure balance cartridge used inside earlier versions of the Hansgrohe 13408181 concealed pressure balance valve. The cartridge balances the hot and cold inlet pressures to help reduce changes in mixed-water temperature when the supply pressure fluctuates.

Important

Later Hansgrohe documentation for valve 13408181 specifies cartridge 88640000. Remove the existing cartridge and confirm the code 92999000 or compare all key measurements before ordering. Do not select this cartridge from the valve number or diameter alone.

Installation Note

Isolate the hot and cold water supplies before dismantling the valve. Lightly lubricate the cartridge O-rings with suitable silicone grease and retain the original cartridge orientation. For a back-to-back installation, the cartridge can be rotated 180 degrees with the C marking positioned on the left.
