Hansgrohe 07001508 is a thermostatic cartridge assembly for Hansgrohe shower valve repairs. It is supplied as the cartridge assembly with piston and wax thermostat for restoring thermostatic temperature control where the original cartridge has become worn, seized or inconsistent in operation.
Function
The thermostatic cartridge reacts to changes in hot and cold water supply and adjusts the mixed outlet temperature through the wax thermostat and piston slider. Replacing the cartridge can help restore stable temperature regulation when the shower is not maintaining the selected temperature correctly.
