H105 Thermostatic Cartridge

SUMMARY

The H105 Thermostatic Cartridge is the specified replacement thermostatic cartridge for compatible concealed shower valves using the H105 cartridge system. It controls the mixing of the incoming hot and cold water supplies to maintain a stable and comfortable outlet temperature during use.

The cartridge is designed for shower valves operating with balanced hot and cold water pressures and is suitable for both high and low pressure installations. According to the manufacturer's documentation, the valve is designed for flow pressures between 0.1 and 5 bar, with a maximum static pressure of 10 bar. The recommended hot water supply temperature is 55–65°C, with a cold supply temperature of 5–25°C.

The thermostatic control is factory set, with the valve's temperature control calibrated around the 38°C safety position. If the existing cartridge has become affected by limescale, debris or general wear, symptoms can include fluctuating outlet temperatures, poor temperature regulation or reduced responsiveness when adjusting the temperature control.

The H105 cartridge can also be removed for maintenance. The manufacturer's instructions recommend cleaning the cartridge under clean running water and lightly lubricating the seals with silicone grease before refitting.
