This Fantini NST6235 thermostatic cartridge is for the Fantini Nostromo 1623s shower mixing valve. It is the temperature control cartridge used inside the thermostatic mixing valve assembly.
The cartridge helps regulate blended water temperature in the shower valve. Replacement is normally considered when temperature control becomes unstable, the shower no longer holds the selected temperature correctly, or the existing cartridge has become stiff, worn or scaled.
