Beaumont BEAU56X is a thermostatic cartridge for traditional concealed and exposed sequential shower valves. It is used on the Beaumont valves, where one control moves progressively from cold towards hot while regulating mixed water temperature.
The thermostatic function provides controlled blending with anti-scald protection and cold water fail-safe shut-down. When the original cartridge becomes worn, scaled or stiff, common symptoms can include unstable water temperature, difficult temperature adjustment, or the valve no longer holding the selected mix consistently.
