The Adora MB1122 is a thermostatic cartridge used for temperature control in the Blade Multifunction Valve and the Crosswater MB510SQ Planet Multifunction Thermostatic Shower Valve with fixed head and single mode shower kit.

This cartridge controls the mixed water temperature inside the thermostatic shower valve. It is used when the shower temperature is no longer regulating correctly, when the control is stiff or inconsistent, or when internal cartridge seals have become worn or affected by scale and debris.

Technical Details

• The Crosswater MB510SQ valve is installed with hot water on the left and cold water on the right
• The associated MB510SQ valve uses 150mm pipework centres with a 25mm tolerance
• Isolate the hot and cold water supplies before removing the old cartridge
• Clean the cartridge chamber and remove scale or debris before fitting the new cartridge
• Apply a suitable silicone grease to cartridge O-rings during installation
