The Ideal Standard Trevi A960587NU is a 3/4 inch DO8 thermostatic cartridge assembly used in selected Ideal Standard and Sottini thermostatic shower valves, bath fillers and bath/shower mixers. It fits inside the mixer body and provides thermostatic temperature control.
This cartridge regulates the mixed water temperature. It is separate from the on/off flow cartridge used in the dual-control mixers listed below, so temperature-control and water shut-off faults require different checks.

Before Ordering and Fitting
Check the exact mixer model and compare the existing cartridge before ordering. The nominal size and spanner size do not establish fitment on their own. Temperature or flow problems can also be caused by blocked filters, so inspect the filters before deciding that the thermostatic cartridge needs changing.
Isolate the hot and cold water supplies before dismantling the mixer. Follow the instructions for your particular model when refitting the cartridge, temperature carrier and handle, then check for leaks and carry out the temperature-setting and commissioning procedure.
