The Trevi Therm A962599AA is a chrome shroud cover sleeve for the temperature-control handle on selected Ideal Standard and Trevi thermostatic shower valves. It fits around the handle mounting area and provides a finished appearance to the valve trim.
This is an external cover component rather than the temperature handle, thermostatic cartridge or water-flow control. It is useful when the original shroud has been damaged, lost or removed during servicing. Different Trevi generations use different handle and shroud assemblies, so the existing shower model should be identified before ordering.

Before Ordering
Check the original shroud shape, chrome finish and shower valve model before purchasing. The Trevi Therm MK2 exposed A3200AA component listing specifies a different shroud, A963426AA, so A962599AA should not be selected for that valve without checking the original part.
The sleeve is separate from the temperature handle and its fittings. If the handle is loose or will not adjust the temperature correctly, inspect the handle carrier and thermostatic mechanism rather than assuming the sleeve is at fault. If water drips from the shower head when the valve is off, investigate the flow-control parts.
