The Ideal Standard A912747NU11 is a sealing O-ring for the large A953190NU multiport single-lever cartridge used in selected bath fillers and bath/shower mixers. This part is also identified by the shorter reference A912747NU.
The O-ring provides a water seal at the cartridge assembly and is used when renewing a damaged or deteriorated seal during servicing. This is an individual sealing component, not the complete mixing cartridge or a full cartridge seal kit.

Before Ordering
Check the exact tap model, existing cartridge and both O-ring dimensions before ordering. Range names or a matching diameter alone are not sufficient to identify the correct seal. A962639NU is a separate, thinner O-ring and must not be confused with A912747NU11.
Identify the source of any leakage before replacing the seal. Do not assume that a new O-ring will resolve internal cartridge wear, a stiff operating lever or persistent dripping from the spout when the tap is turned off.
Fitting Notes
Isolate both the hot and cold water supplies before removing the cartridge. Inspect the seal groove and mating surfaces, remove deposits carefully and fit the new O-ring without twisting or pinching it. Apply a thin coating of suitable silicone grease during assembly, then reassemble the mixer and check for leaks after restoring the water supplies.
