Mira 1869.043 is a thermostatic cartridge assembly for the Minilite built-in shower valve platform. It is the temperature control cartridge used inside the concealed shower control unit and is supplied as the cartridge assembly rather than a loose thermostatic element.
This part restores thermostatic blending and outlet temperature control. Typical fault symptoms can include incorrect temperature, only hot or only cold water reaching the outlet, unstable temperature control, or continued water leaking from the shower head after shut-off beyond the brief normal drain-down period.

Before you order check that your shower is on the Minilite or Moto built-in valve platform that uses 1869.043, and not the Mira Minilite EV model which uses a different thermostatic cartridge. A small amount of water draining after shut-off can be normal.
