The Ultra SPR07 is a 40mm manual single-lever ceramic cartridge used in selected Ultra and Hudson Reed basin, bidet and bath mixer taps.

The cartridge controls water flow and mixes the hot and cold supplies as the tap lever is moved, allowing the flow and water temperature to be adjusted from one handle.

Fault Symptoms and Fitting Advice

Dripping from the spout after the lever has been closed can indicate worn or damaged cartridge seals. Check the cause of the leak before replacing the cartridge.

Isolate the hot and cold water supplies before removing the existing cartridge. Before ordering, compare its part code, base profile, water ports, locating pins and spindle dimensions with the replacement. Follow the mixer manufacturer's fitting instructions and ensure that the cartridge seating area is clean before fitting.
