The Vado C-204-RTC is a quarter turn ceramic disc flow cartridge used for on and off water control in a shower valve. This cartridge has a 91mm total length including the bottom seal and is identified by the Part Number C-204-RTC.

It is designed to restore the shut-off function where the existing cartridge matches the same measurements, spline count, thread size and operating direction. A worn flow cartridge can cause stiff operation, poor shut-off control or water continuing to drip from the shower head or outlet when the valve is turned off.

Check Before Ordering

Compare the removed cartridge against the measurements above before ordering. Check the full body length, spline diameter, 20-spline stem, 1/2" BSP lower thread, blue bottom seal and clockwise-close operating direction. Do not order by brand or approximate length alone.

Installation Note

Turn off the water supply before removing the old cartridge. Clean the valve body seat before installation and lightly grease the o-ring and bottom seal with suitable cartridge silicone grease to help protect the seals during fitting.
