The Trevi A923710 is a CTV flow control drive gear used in Ideal Standard Trevi CTV concentric thermostatic shower valve assemblies. This is the small gear wheel used on the flow control side of the valve and should not be confused with the flow cartridge, thermostatic cartridge or outer chrome handle.
The drive gear works with the volume handle geared carrier and the flow control cartridge assembly to transfer movement from the volume control side of the shower valve. If the shower is dripping from the head or outlet when turned off, check the flow cartridge and sealing parts as well as the drive gear, because A923710 is a drive component rather than the sealing cartridge itself.
