Perrin & Rowe 9.13247 is the hot-side quarter-turn flow-control cartridge used in selected Orbiq sink mixer taps. It is a self-serviceable 1/2 inch snap-on valve assembly for lever-handle kitchen mixers and is fitted on the hot side to control flow and shut-off.
This cartridge is commonly replaced when the hot side becomes stiff to turn, does not shut off cleanly, or allows water to continue dripping from the spout after the tap is turned off. Replacing a worn cartridge can restore smooth handle movement and proper hot water isolation.
