- Bristan VLV 04070-8-20A has a spindle length of approximately 48mm (4.8cm). It is a threaded flow cartridge. A 17mm box spanner is needed to undo the threads and remove the faulty cartridge.
- Use only silicone-based grease on the O-ring of the replacement Bristan flow cartridge (VLV 04070-8-20A). The grease will help the new part seal in the valve.
