The A960898NU Ideal Standard / Trevi ceramic disc flow cartridge is a G3/4 flow-control headwork used in selected concealed thermostatic Easy Box and Easybox Slim shower valves. It controls the on/off water flow and volume through the valve, while temperature control is handled separately by the thermostatic cartridge.
This cartridge turns anti-clockwise to turn the water on. The current version has an all-brass construction; the earlier polymer-bottom version has been discontinued while retaining the A960898NU part code.

A worn flow cartridge can prevent the valve from shutting off fully and may cause water to drip from the shower head or outlet when the shower is turned off.
