Summary
Dornbracht 90173302000-00 Thermostat Handle 46mm Chrome for xTOOL Concealed Thermostats
The Dornbracht 90173302000-00 is a chrome thermostat handle for selected Dornbracht xTOOL concealed thermostatic shower valve assemblies. It is the visible temperature control handle used on the thermostat side of the valve and is supplied as the handle component rather than the thermostatic cartridge or internal control unit.
This handle is the replacement item for Dornbracht handle code 90 17 33 004 00-00, which is also listed on Di Vapor under 90173300400-00. Check the complete valve article number and the removed handle code before ordering because similar Dornbracht handles can look alike and should not be matched by diameter alone.

When To Replace
Replace this thermostat handle if the existing handle is cracked, missing, worn, loose on the control spindle or no longer gives reliable grip when adjusting the shower temperature. If the shower temperature is unstable, stiff to adjust or inaccurate, check the thermostatic cartridge and associated handle button parts as well because the external handle alone will not correct an internal cartridge fault.

Before You Order
- Match 90173302000-00 or the earlier 90 17 33 004 00-00 handle reference against the valve spare parts diagram or the removed handle.
- Check the full Dornbracht xTOOL valve article number before ordering.
- Do not order by appearance or 46 mm diameter alone because other Dornbracht temperature handles can be similar.
- If the handle is intact but temperature control is poor, investigate the thermostatic cartridge and handle button components before replacing the handle only.
