The MS WRAS D40P-19D is a 40mm shower valve cartridge sold as a shower diverter cartridge for use in specifically dimensioned shower valve bodies.
This cartridge is used to control water routing through the valve. A common symptom of a worn diverter or control cartridge is poor outlet selection, water passing to the wrong outlet, or dripping from the shower head or spout when the shower is turned off.

Before Ordering Checks
Before ordering, compare the existing cartridge with D40P-19D and check the diameter, body shape, port layout, spline or spindle detail, seal positions and valve body recess. Do not order from diameter alone because D40P-19D must match the valve body and operating arrangement.
Installation Note
When fitting a new cartridge, isolate the water supply, clean the valve body, remove scale or debris from the cartridge chamber and lightly lubricate the O-rings and bottom seals with WRAS approved silicone grease before installation.
