Please note that the new version of the cartridge is a different colour and design as the manufacturer has changed the way it's made. The new diverter is a cream plastic colour.

The Saneux 2001012 replacement is a diverter cartridge that can reroute water flow from one outlet to another. Failure to do so might indicate this shower part, or parts of it, has expired.

O-rings and seals allow the Saneux 2001012 to hold water without it leaking. Years of use can deplete it leading to dripping from one outlet while another is in use.

This diverter cartridge has a long brass spindle. Sediments can collect and harden anywhere in the spindle and the spline. This can result in leaks, poor water flow and/or a hard to turn diverter handle.
