Summary
Bristan BLH217 is a white thermostatic cartridge for Bristan Zing Cool Touch and Safe Touch bar mixer showers. It controls the temperature blend inside the shower valve and is used when the original thermostatic cartridge is scaled, worn or no longer regulating temperature correctly.
This cartridge is used in confirmed Bristan Zing thermostatic bar shower assemblies. Check the shower model code before ordering because Bristan notes that spare parts can differ between product revisions.

Installation Notes
Isolate the hot and cold water supplies before servicing the valve. Remove the temperature handle and stop parts to access the cartridge retaining nut, then remove the thermostatic cartridge for cleaning or replacement. Inspect seals during reassembly and use WRAS-approved silicone grease on suitable seals where required.
