This cartridge is used on the hot control side of the Orcus Aquifier dual lever filter sink tap. It is a tap control cartridge and should not be confused with the separate front filter tap cartridge or the consumable carbon water filter used in the filtration system.

A worn hot cartridge can cause poor shut-off, stiffness at the handle or dripping from the tap outlet when the handle is turned off. Replacing the correct hot-side cartridge helps restore controlled hot water operation on the tap.

Installation Notes

Always isolate the hot and cold water supplies before removing a tap cartridge and drain residual water from the system. When servicing cartridge seals or spout O-rings, apply a suitable silicone grease to the O-rings and seals during reassembly.
