This is a quarter turn cartridge which opens with an anti-clockwise turn (which is usually the cold side). It has 28 splines (teeth at the top which connects into the control handle). If your tap is dripping, the most likely issue is a faulty cartridge, therefore you'll need to replace either the cold cartridge, hot cartridge or both.
The SMR3133 San Marco cold kitchen tap cartridge is a 1/2 inch quarter-turn ceramic tap valve for repairing a dripping or difficult-to-control kitchen tap on the cold side.
This cartridge opens with an anti-clockwise turn and has a 28 spline head for connection into the tap handle. If water continues to drip from the spout when the tap is turned off, the cartridge is the most likely part to check before replacing the whole tap.
