Simple Guide: Franke Moritz Tap Cartridge Installation

Before proceeding to fit this Franke spare cartridge, please make sure you shut off the tap’s water supply.

1. There is a grub screw opposite the handle lever. Use an Allen key to loosen the screw. Lift the handle to remove.

2. Unscrew the valve cover anti-clockwise to remove. This can be done by hand.

3. Use an adjustable spanner to remove the old cartridge. Turn it anti-clockwise to remove.

4. Grease the replacement Franke Moritz tap cartridge O-ring and seat it in the valve. Tighten using the spanner.

5. Reassemble the valve cover and the handle.
