The Franke Instante 9.13414 boiling/filtered valve cartridge for the Franke Instante 4 Way V1 boiling and filtered water tap. This is the cartridge-only spare for the boiling/filtered side control and is used to restore correct valve operation where the filtered or boiling water handle is leaking or no longer shutting off correctly.

Function

This cartridge controls the filtered water and boiling filtered water side of the Franke Instante 4-in-1 tap. A common symptom of failure is leaking or dripping around the boiling/filtered handle, or water continuing to pass when the handle is turned off.

Check that your Franke Instante tap is the V1 version before ordering this 9.13414 cartridge. V1 taps use a 100°C marking on the boiling side. Do not order this part for the V2 version unless your existing spare code confirms 9.13414, as the V2 boiling/filtered valve kit is listed separately under code 9.13011.

Installation Note

Isolate the water supply and allow the boiling water system to cool before removing the old cartridge. Lubricating cartridge O-rings with a suitable silicone grease during refitting can help protect seals and make installation easier.
