Question: What is the hot side cartridge as I will be replacing both cartridges for a comprehensive tap repair.

Answer: FR-DA66 is the Franke Davos tap cartridge hot side.

Question: How will I know if my Davos tap is before 2007?

Answer: You can know this by taking a look at the tap’s spout base. Pre-2007 valves will have a rounded locking nut. Post-2007 valve has a “flat-looking” locking nut (it’s not rounded or curved).

Question: Do you have a guide on how to change the Franke Davos tap cartridge?

Answer: Replacing cartridge in the Franke Davos tap is simple. All you need to do is:

• Remove the handle’s screw cap cover and loosen the screw.
• Pull the handle to remove it.
• Use a small spanner to remove the old cartridge.
• Apply silicone grease on the O-rings of the new Franke Davos tap cartridge and install it in the tap valve seat.
• Secure and tighten the cartridge with the spanner.
• Put back the handle, screw, and screw cap.
