Franke Basel Kitchen Tap Cold Valve Compatible Cartridge with Bush FR-BA87 is a cold-side replacement flow valve cartridge for the Franke Basel kitchen tap. It is supplied as the cold valve with the bush or collar, making it suitable where the original valve comes away with the surrounding bush during removal.
This cartridge controls water flow and shut-off on the cold side of the tap. It is not a thermostatic cartridge and does not control water temperature. The hot and cold cartridges are not interchangeable because the opening and closing directions differ.

Fitting Notes
Turn off both hot and cold water supplies before dismantling the tap. Remove the handle retaining screw, lift off the handle, unscrew the valve cover and remove the faulty valve with a suitable spanner. Apply a small amount of WRAS-approved silicone grease to suitable seals during fitting and do not force the cartridge if the thread or direction does not match the removed valve.
