Carron Phoenix Maya Tap Cartridge (Cold) - 28 Spline, 1/2 Inch Compatible Tap Valve
Are you ready to do some basic plumbing? Replacing a Carron Phoenix Maya tap cartridge can be easy and can take just a few minutes.
Before beginning the dripping kitchen tap repair, please close the water supply from under the sink to prevent accidental water flow. Turn the tap on to check if water is completely isolated.
1. Pull the Maya handle lever down so you can access the grub screw under the lever. Use a small hex key to loosen the grub screw until you can pull the lever handle out of the tap body.
2. With the hex key, loosen the grub screw from under the cartridge cover until you can pull the cover out to separate it from the tap body.
3. Use a 17mm spanner or an adjustable spanner to unscrew the Carron Phoenix Maya tap cartridge. Pull the cartridge out. Have a towel ready in case leftover water overflows.
4. Insert the replacement cartridge in the Carron Phoenix Maya tap. Screw it in and use the spanner to tighten. Do not overtighten.
5. Put the cartridge hood (cover) and the lever handle back.
