This replacement tap cartridge for the Carron Phoenix Dante Pro is the spare part for taps that use the 133.0438.152 cold valve. Here are a few tips when it comes to fitting this tap valve part.
- Use an Allen key to loosen the grub screw and remove the valve handle.
- Corrosion and / or hardened limescale can cause the handle to get stuck in the valve making it difficult to remove. When the handle won’t come off, an extra amount of force can be used to separate it from the valve.
Hold the spout firmly in place before pulling out the handle.
- The hot and cold valve cannot be interchanged. Though the cartridge itself does not regulate water temperature, the close and open direction of the two valves are different. This Carron Phoenix Dante Pro tap cartridge 133.0438.152 replacement is the cold valve insert.
